Minimum Requirements

iOS

  • iPhone 6S (2016) and newer all support the required sensors.  The iPhone XS (2018) and newer support the latest versions of iOS and hence should be more secure. Newer is generally better, with more memory, faster CPU, support for 5G and support for the latest iOS versions.
  • iPad Air (3rd gen), iPad Pro (3rd gen), iPad mini (5th gen), iPad (7th gen) and newer are supported and at present run with the latest versions of iOS.  Please ensure you order devices with cellular connection (4G & 5G).  Wifi only devices do not include the GNSS/GPS sensor.

Android

Mid range and above are generally supported. Devices must include the following sensors:
  • Accelerometer
  • Gyro
  • Magnetometer
  • GNSS/GPS

WIFI-only tablets are not supported. WIFI-only tablets do not include GNSS/GPS sensor.
When selecting a suitable device, support for 5G, WIFI and Bluetooth is recommended.
Android 12 and newer are supported.

Newer is generally better, with more memory, faster CPU, support for 5G and support for the latest Android versions.

Windows

Windows laptops and workstations running Windows 11 or newer, with 8Gb RAM or more. Please note that only map mode and VR mode are supported.
